Community Governor

The full Governing body meets at least once a term to discuss a wide range of matters. However the governing body is split up into two smaller groups which meet several times a year.

The Finance, Premises and Personnel Committee (FPP)

This group is responsible for monitoring funding arrangements (including the school's Financial Plan). It considers financial requests from other sub committees and makes representations to Milton Keynes Council and to other national funding bodies. It also has responsibility for the maintenance and repair of the school buildings and grounds and covers matters relating to pay and conditions of service for staff.

The Curriculum, Parents and Pupils Committee (CPP)

This group is responsible for encouraging links between parents, school and the wider community including the preparation of this document. It is also responsible for pupil admissions, which do not fall under the normal procedures, or for admissions outside the reserved area for the school. It is also expected to understand the way the curriculum is organised and together with professional staff is responsible for ensuring that all the legal requirements for the National Curriculum are offered.
