Wood End Pre-School is a pre-school for 2, 3 and 4 year olds, which opened in January 2019. Run by Wood End Infant and Pre-School, the Pre-School Leader works in partnership with the school’s Foundation Stage Leader to provide an exciting, stimulating indoor and outdoor environment for children to thrive and develop.
Our staff are caring, friendly and highly experienced in working with Early Years children in a range of settings. Our Pre-School is managed with the same policies and procedures as Wood End Infant School, including Safeguarding, First Aid, SEND and Behaviour Management. We are able to offer the same excellent practice as recognised by OFSTED across the age range from 2 years to 7 years.
The curriculum has been developed using the Early Years Framework to ensure that children have a diverse range of fun, enriching experiences and are nurtured and cared for in a family environment.
Wood End Pre-School is a Governor-led community provision.
