Hours
Doors open: 8.45am for registration and circle time
Doors close: 8.55am
Morning break for KS1: around 10.00am, 15 minutes (flexible to meet the needs of the school day)
Lunchtime: 12.00 – 1.00pm
End of school day: 3.00pm
Total time in a typical week: 31.25 hours
Start of the Day
Children should not come onto the school premises before 8.30am (unless they have booked for Wide-Awake Club). All children enter through their classroom door from 8.45am, where they hang up their coats and bag, and join their class for circle time and registration.
Morning Break
KS1 children use the main playground and Early Years children use their own separate outdoor area. Throughout the morning, KS1 children have access to fresh fruit and Early Years children have access to fruit and healthy snacks.
Lunchtime
Children have a choice of school dinner or bring in their own packed lunch. There is a wide choice of healthy meals offered including a hot meal, a vegetarian option, a jacket potato or a sandwich. From September 2014 all school meals for infants have been free. There is an additional charge for hot meals for Pre-School children – please ask at the office for details. Hot meals must be ordered a week in advance by 9.00am the previous Thursday. Please see Lunches for more information.
End of the Day
Children are dismissed at 3.00pm. (If they are booked into a club, they will be taken straight to the room where the club will take place.) A member of staff releases the children when they can see the parents/carer or persons named on the End of Day form.

Pre-School Collection Details
- End of morning session – 11.45am – collect from Pre-School door
- End of day session – 3.00pm – collect from Pre-School door
- Lunch Club – 12.30pm – collect from main reception
